JPXdesk
Company

Built on set, not in a boardroom.

JPX Desk started as the back office of JPX Studios, a photo and video studio in New York. It still runs every booking there.

Why it exists

A studio loses bookings in the gap between yes and paid.

A client from another time zone writes on a Sunday. By the time the quote, the contract and the invoice have gone back and forth, they've booked someone else.

We looked at the all-in-one studio tools. They wanted us to design forms, pipelines and portals before we could send a single proposal, and they still left the money a few emails away. So we built the opposite: a desk that already knows how a studio works, turns an inquiry into a paid booking in one link, and lets an AI do the typing while a person makes every call.

Everything in it is there because studio work needed it. Risk flags exist because studios get asked to pay someone else's crew through their invoice. Ranked holds exist because two clients want the same Saturday. Follow-ups stay in the client's own thread because that is where clients look.

What we believe

Four rules we build by.

They're also why some features you'd expect aren't here.

A person decides

Software and AI suggest. The owner approves anything that reaches a client or touches money.

Fast to paid

Every screen is judged by one question: does it get the client from inquiry to paid sooner.

Fewer settings

Good defaults beat endless customization. If a choice can be made well for you, it is.

Only what happened

No forecasts and no vanity metrics. Numbers show money that landed and work that's due.

How it grew

Eight months of real bookings.

Each release shipped because the studio needed it that week.

March 2026An income tracker

A personal ledger for the studio's payments across its businesses.

May to JuneProposals, clients and mail

The first proposal generator, a client list and the studio's mailboxes in one place.

JuneJPX Desk

A new name, a domain of its own and a desk that runs the whole studio.

JulyMarketing and lead capture

Email campaigns, audiences and a lead form with source tracking.

SeptemberPayments and e-signature

The flat redesign, the calendar, signing and paying on one page, invoices and bank transfer.

Early OctoberInquiries and Claude

The inquiry list and the brief, notifications, and a secure sign-in for Claude.

October 7 to 12Holds, crew and outreach

Multi-day jobs, date options, ranked holds, the crew roster, sequences and the cold-email queue.

October 16 to 18House rules

Rules every AI reads first, automatic intake from the inbox and spam held instead of lost.

Next

From one studio to many.

The next step is opening JPX Desk to other studios, each with their own login, their own inbox, their own Stripe and their own AI. The first ones will be set up by hand, with us.
