Three ways to take payment.
Most photographers don't want to set up a payment processor. So you'll get a choice. One is live today, two are in the works.
Your own Stripe
Deposit and balance payment links on your account. Card and Apple Pay. The money goes straight to you.
Payouts handled for you
JPX Desk takes the payment and pays out to your bank account after fees. No processor to set up.
PayPal
For clients and studios who already live there.
What studios ask first.
When can my studio use it?
JPX Desk runs every booking at JPX Studios today. We're opening it to a small group of photo and video studios first, set up one at a time. Request early access and we'll be in touch.
Do my clients need an account?
No. They open one link, read the proposal, pick a date, sign and pay. They get the signed copy, receipt and invoice by email.
Whose Stripe account do payments go to?
Today, payments go to the studio's own Stripe account through payment links. We're also working on payouts handled for you, for studios that don't want to set up Stripe, and on PayPal.
Do I need an AI to use it?
No. Everything works in the app, including the proposal writer. Connecting Claude Duet, ChatGPT Dots or Grok Bot lets you do the same work from a conversation, with the same approvals.
Can I bring my existing clients and crew?
Clients come in as they write to you, and every past proposal's client becomes a record. The crew roster imports from a CSV or a vCard.
Which calendars and mailboxes work?
Apple iCloud calendars today, over CalDAV. Mail works with standard IMAP and SMTP mailboxes. Google Calendar isn't supported yet.
Is it a HoneyBook replacement?
It covers the same ground for a studio: inquiries, proposals, e-signature, payments and invoices. It's built to be faster to set up and has fewer things to configure.
Built for one studio first. Opening to a few more.
JPX Desk runs every booking at JPX Studios in New York today. We're bringing on a small group of photo and video studios next.
