JPXdesk
Product

Everything a studio runs on, in one desk.

Ten parts that share one set of data. Read top to bottom, it's the life of a booking.

Home

One screen that says what needs you.

Home opens on the month in four numbers, then the short list of things waiting on you: an inquiry with no reply, a proposal nobody opened, a date option still unpicked, a gallery due this week. When it's empty, it says so.

Inquiries

Every lead, from every door, in one list.

Website forms, the studio inbox, a forwarded email, a DM you log by hand. JPX Desk reads the inquiry inbox every few minutes and turns a stranger asking about a shoot into a lead. One record per person, however many times they write.

Spam
  • A reply timer on every lead, red after 24 hours
  • The Brief: dates, venue, guests, budget and usage, read from all of their messages
  • Suspected spam is held, never lost. A message that names a shoot and a date is never held
  • Risk flags for known scams, like paying someone else's crew through your invoice
Proposals

Paste the email. Get the proposal.

The proposal writer reads the client's email or the lead's brief and drafts the whole document: sessions, line items, deliverables, usage and terms. Then it checks itself. Your clauses come from a library you can lock, so the terms never drift.

Client page

Sign and pay without an account.

Your client gets one short link from your own mailbox, inside their original thread. The page carries your studio's name and logo. They read it, pick a date, sign and pay, all on their phone.

Calendar

Hold the date before you lose it.

A lead's dates become tentative holds, ranked first, second and third when two clients want the same day. Holds expire on a timer and never leave JPX Desk. Bookings go to your iCloud calendar and update as the job is signed and paid.

Solid is booked. Outline is a sent proposal. Dashed is a hold.
  • Every day of a multi-day job, logged hours, deliverables and holds on one month
  • Synced with your iCloud calendar over CalDAV
  • Clients are told when their date is on hold, challenged or released, once you approve
  • Conflict alerts when two jobs land on one day
Mail

Your studio's mailboxes, finally in one place.

Every inbox you run, side by side, with search across all of them. Replies and forwards go out in the client's existing thread and look exactly like mail you sent from your own computer.

The books keep themselves.

Stripe payments, cash, Zelle and checks all land on the job they belong to. Income by source, expenses one-time and recurring, invoices numbered for you. Charts show what happened, never a guess at what might.

Clients and crew

Know who you work for and who you hire.

Each client has one record with every proposal, payment and email. The roster is the address book of people you hire: roles, rates, jobs and what you have paid them. Put crew on a proposal and the margin updates as you type.

Marketing and outreach

Reach out like a person, at a person's pace.

Campaigns for the people who already know you. For new ones, lead lists, timed sequences and a cold-email queue. Every cold email is written for one person, approved by you, then sent from your mailbox at a random time inside your send window.
